Ishwari Samarakoon

Proprietor / Speech Pathologist

Ishwari is the proud owner and Principal Speech Pathologist at Speech Therapy Services.

After graduating from Curtin University in 2000 she worked in a number of settings in both the public health and education sectors. As the founding Speech Pathologist at the Peel Language Development Centre, she was instrumental in setting up their school based programs. Her dedication and expertise in communication therapies has helped many children lead happier, more fulfilling lives. Her areas of special interest are literacy, behaviour and autism. If all that isn’t enough, she also finds the time to do arty things like photography, going to the theatre and watching foreign films.

Ariel enjoys working with children and adults with voice concerns, as well as working with children with speech and language difficulties. A woman with cosmopolitan tastes, when Ariel has a rare moment to herself she fills the time singing, sketching, travelling and learning French.

Courtney Hill

Speech Pathologist

With a background in retail, sales and IT, Courtney felt there was something missing and set her sights on a new career. Graduating from Curtin University with a degree in Speech Pathology, she is dedicated to working with children with autism, language delay and disability. Her work with clients registered with NDIS has further sparked her passion for helping, supporting and advocating for clients and their families. Yoga keeps her physically busy, while a passion for reading, film and needlework keeps her mentally stimulated. When not at Speech Therapy Services, Courtney can be found spending time with her partner Anthony and their three rescue cats.

Doha Youssef

Speech Pathologist
Doha Youssef is an exceptionally motivated Speech Pathologist with experience working as a therapy assistant with children with autism.  She is passionate about developing relationships with her clients and their families. Assisting children to develop their pre-literacy and literacy skills is a specific area of interest for her.
While she has a soft spot for cats and old-school music, you will most likely find her reading, watching films, traveling or spending time with family and friends when she is not working.
