Ishwari Samarakoon

Proprietor / Speech Pathologist

Ishwari is the proud owner and Principal Speech Pathologist at Speech Therapy Services.

After graduating from Curtin University in 2000 she worked in a number of settings in both the public health and education sectors. As the founding Speech Pathologist at the Peel Language Development Centre, she was instrumental in setting up their school based programs. Her dedication and expertise in communication therapies has helped many children lead happier, more fulfilling lives. Her areas of special interest are literacy, behaviour and autism. If all that isn’t enough, she also finds the time to do arty things like photography, going to the theatre and watching foreign films.

Jessica Evans

Speech Pathologist
Jessica Evans is wholly committed to helping children reach their full potential. She holds a degree in Speech Pathology from Curtin University and a diploma in Counselling. As a Speech Pathologist, her areas of special interest include literacy and articulation. Jessica’s journey into healthcare began as part of international children’s charity Radio Lollipop, providing comfort, fun and entertainment to sick children in hospital.
On the weekends, Jessica’s strengths shine in upcycling tired furniture into modern, artsy creations and the friendly competition of games night with friends and family.
